Audrey Christle has a busy career as Account Manager of higher education sales at ProQuest, but this does not mean she spends all of her free time at work. Conversely, Audrey Christle always makes time for humanitarian work, especially as it relates to volunteering. She regularly volunteers with Safe Harbor Animal Rescue and Palm Beach County School Board, which have provided a wealth of rich experiences.

Audrey Christle believes in volunteering because it gives you the chance to do something good for the community and yourself. She understands that it is easy to sit back and let others do things for you, but she also believes that it never hurts to lend a hand every once in awhile. If we all played passive roles in our communities, nothing would get done.
Volunteering also provides exposure to environments that you may not have been able to explore otherwise. In Audrey Christle’s case, volunteering with Safe Harbor Animal Rescue has allowed her to work with animals that most people do not ordinarily interact with. She highly values this aspect of volunteering, as she has been able to work with many different types of people, animals, materials, and the like.
Additionally, Audrey Christle loves volunteering because it makes her feel good. She knows from firsthand experience that volunteering increases self-esteem and empathy for others, which is never a bad thing. For these reasons, she encourages everyone to become involved with a local project. You never know what benefits there are to be gained!
